1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Campusmate (“we”, “us”) is an online community where people from around the world learn Korean, talk about Korea and share travel and life tips. These terms apply when you visit or use the Campusmate website.

2. Your account

You must be at least 14 years old to create an account. If local law requires a higher age or a parent's consent, you must meet that requirement.

• Give accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person, one account. Do not impersonate others or create accounts to evade a restriction.
• You can ask us to delete your account at any time from the settings page.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post (text, photos, voice recordings, comments). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute it on Campusmate and in previews of Campusmate (for example search results and link previews), for as long as it is on the site.

You promise that you have the right to post it and that it does not break the law or anyone's rights. Do not post other people's private information, and do not upload recordings of people who have not agreed to be recorded.

4. What is not allowed

The Community Guidelines apply. In particular, do not:

• harass, threaten, bully or sexually harass anyone, or post hateful content;
• post spam, scams, misleading offers, repeated or mass-produced posts, or unsolicited advertising;
• post illegal content, sexual content involving minors, or content that encourages self-harm or violence;
• try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or access other people's accounts or data.

5. Moderation

We and our moderators may hide or remove content, limit features, mute, suspend or permanently ban accounts that break these terms or the guidelines, or that put the community at risk. Where practical we will tell you why. Some actions are recorded in an audit log.

You can report content or members using the Report button. We review reports but cannot promise to act on every one or to respond within a set time.

6. Links, affiliate links and advertising

Campusmate may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for them.

Some links may be affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you buy through links on this page, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are labelled and carry rel="sponsored". Advertising may be shown in the future; it will be labelled as such.

7. Information, not advice

Learning materials, travel tips, exam information (such as TOPIK), medical-tourism information and other content are provided for general information only. They may be incomplete or out of date. Always check official sources (for example the official TOPIK website, embassies, airlines and healthcare providers) before you make plans or decisions. Nothing on Campusmate is legal, medical, immigration or financial advice.

8. Availability and changes

Campusmate is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time, and we may update these terms. If changes are important we will tell you on the site. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for content posted by members, or for losses caused by relying on information from the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
