There is a difference between what is in a makeup tutorial and what is actually rolling around at the bottom of someone’s bag.

The tutorial has a coordinated routine. The bag has one favorite lip product, a mirror with fingerprints, and possibly a receipt from a completely different month. Much more interesting, honestly. 😂

I like the stories attached to these little everyday things. Maybe you chose a tint because the packaging was cute and ended up loving the color. Maybe you bought a compact while travelling, so opening it still reminds you of that trip. Or maybe the least glamorous item is the one you actually use.

You do not have to name a brand. “My lip balm because my bag feels wrong without it” is already a good answer. A tiny mirror, your favorite blush, or a little pouch someone gave you counts too.
